Sriram Educational Trust, founded by Late Shri. M.E. Devaraja Naidu, is now managed by a team of Trustees, under the chairmanship of D. V. Vasanthi Devi, Former Vice Chancellor of Manonmanium Sundaranar University. The Trustees are enthusiastic educationalists, focusing on rural upliftment.

Sriram Vidhya Mandir Mat. Hr. Sec. School, Perumalpattu was started in the year 2002. The banyan spread its branches and now has a total student strength of 882, from Pre.K.G to 12th std. It caters to the educational demands of the rural folk around Veppampattu.
